Icy Weather with scattered snow showers on the way from tonight!
It looks like we are set for a period of icy weather in the days ahead with the Met Office having this afternoon issued a yellow level alert.
The weather warning is for hazardous patches of ice and has been issued as the Polar blast continues to batter Scotland and the north of England.
Met Eireann has also issued two weather warnings for the whole of Ireland for both ice and snow.
Alerts for snow have already been issued for parts of Scotland, while warnings of rain and high winds were also in place early on Thursday.
Scattered snow showers are likely to be on the way, most frequent across Ulster and Connacht.
It is in place from 6pm on Thursday until 10am on Friday.
Once again we urge to “Take Care on the Roads” and “Wrap Up” as it looks set to be a cold one with low temperatures of -3C or -4C in places.
