Barry Kirwan has been made a considerable name for himself on the music and entertainment scene and, while we all know the fantastic Dominic Kirwan, there is no doubt that Barry is very much making his own indelible mark as a great artist from County Tyrone.

Barry’s latest single is “She Only Loves Me for My Willie”, from the album of the same name, and the next opportunity you can get to hear the Omagh singer live is at this week’s Balmoral Show, on Wednesday 10th May on the Downtown Country Stage.

For today’s #MondayMusic we bring our readers/listeners a super track from Barry entitled “Whenever You Come Around”

In recent weeks we seen the terrific influence he had in mentoring Tyrone singer, Lauren McCrory, as the talented Galbally girl impressed all before her in winning the hugely popular TG4 show ‘Glór Tíre’ outright.

On 6th May 2016, Barry released his first solo single ‘‘Keep It In The Middle Of The Road’ from his debut studio album. The song shot to No. 1 spot on the Irish iTunes Country chart and No.2 in the UK iTunes Country chart –  a foretelling of the successful career this rising star will undoubtedly have in the years ahead.

Having already been nominated ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the 2016 RTE Irish Country Music Awards, Barry Kirwan is set to take the Irish country scene by storm!

Last year Barry launched another very catchy track in “Up the Jive” which was co-written by Barry and his brother Colm Kirwan.
