There has been a major drive ahead of the next test for the Ladies, in the hope of attracting a large Red Hand army of fans to Kingspan Breffni this coming Saturday. Appealing to the clubs to organise support for the senior side, County Chairperson, Donna Mc Crory, explained that this was a great chance for clubs to throw their weight behind the team.

go to link “We all travelled to Dublin last weekend to rightly cheer on Mickey’s team. Clubs organised trips and everyone was behind the boys. Thousands of girls and women travelled too and they  all have a chance now to get behind the female role models of our county. For a change, it’s not too far away and you can’t help but notice that there have been poor crowds this year. Tyrone, as always the leaders, can once again lead and change that, but we need our clubs and all the Tyrone media to get the ball rolling”

go Throw in time on Saturday is 3 pm at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan.  There will be no under 8 or under 10 blitzes organised in the county this weekend, to allow all clubs to travel and support the girls. Here’s the Message from Tyrone Ladies GFA…

Don’t pack up your flags just yet…

You will know that our senior ladies face Sligo on Saturday in the all Ireland Intermediate semi-final.

The game will be played at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan throwing in at 3pm.

You may have seen games recently on TG4 with few supporters turning up to support their teams. Tyrone can change that on Saturday. This is a great opportunity to get behind our Senior Ladies like never before and make Cavan our own this Saturday.

We are calling on all our clubs, and especially those with players on the squad, to organise yourselves to get to Saturdays game. We would appeal to you to bring a couple of your underage teams to the game to cheer on the girls, under 16s are free!

We fully understand the cost involved with buses so perhaps why not double up with another neighbouring club to share the cost. Over 30,000 Tyrone supporters travelled to Croke Park on Sunday past, many young girls and women among them.

Our Senior Lady Footballers deserve your support too. They are the role models for your young lady footballers and that is why they need your support.

Please let us know that you will be attending. Wish the girls well on facebook and twitter. Let them know of your support. Let them know you’re behind them.

follow site This is a massive occasion for our County and our, your girls, lets get behind them now.
