Twenty2Tens first single super ego sees batman take on Dungannon…
Four artists, from Dungannon and Galbally, have come together to form a band which evidently brings with it a unique style of music.
Their first single “Super Ego” is a very catchy and original song and we’re pretty sure you’ll be singing away at “I’m Batman, yeah, yeah, yeah…” well after the video is played! #Tyrone
The quartet, known as ‘Twenty2Ten’, comprises Stevie Conlan, singing and acoustic guitar; John Quinn, base guitar; Micky Hackett, lead guitar and Hugh Donaghey, drums. They started out casually and after a number of sessions together, have moved on to the next step, says Stevie.
“We’re four guys from Dungannon and Galbally, in County Tyrone and are currently in the practice room! I bought my first guitar about four years ago. Micky and myself would meet up and play from time to time and then 10 months ago we met Micky’s cousins, John and Hugh, who had previously played in a band. We have been meeting up to play music ever since.”
“We now plan to start gigging as a cover band and hope to use that opportunity get to more original music out there!”
“The song ‘Super Ego’ came about about three years ago when I wrote it. I’ve always thought that when people get drunk they change. Some believe they are invincible, a super hero if you like! The reality is “when the drinks in the wits out”!! and behind it all you’re just a clown. I’m a big batman fan so that’s why I used that character! We recorded the song in our garage studio and John Quinn produced it from home.”
The song is now available to download on iTunes and most online stores.
Here you go, a very catchy tune indeed… Enjoy…
